Twitter: Premium Features for Brands Possible, Nothing to Announce
Posted by admin as businessfromhomeonline
Twitter may begin charging brands and other commercial users for premium features such as identity verification, as Marketing Magazine and a gaggle of other sites reported yesterday. But the micro-blogging platform wants everyone to know its monetization plans are still very much in the early stages.
In a comment to Marketing earlier this week, Biz Stone said, \”We are noticing more companies using Twitter and individuals following them,\” he said. We can identify ways to make this experience even more valuable and charge for commercial accounts.\”
Now Stone has clarified the remark with a simmer-down-now post to the Twitter blog.
\”It\’s great that both individuals and organizations are finding value in Twitter and there may be ways we can enrich the experience,\” he writes. \”What we\’re thinking about is adding value in places where we are already seeing traction, not imposing fees on existing services.\”
Stone went on to insist, as the company always does, that the site and its features will remain free to both individual and corporate users.

Economic Slamming Doors Provide Huge Entrepreneurial Opportunities
Posted by admin as businessfromhomeopportunity
Remember the old saying… when one door closes another door opens? Well, that is exactly what is happening right now. In the last 6 months we have seen many doors close…no, slam shut. Now we are hearing hints of new technologies, new businesses and new opportunities emerging from the dust because of shifting needs, priorities and a change in thinking in general. Yes, change is a foot. Things will not go back to the way they were and that is probably a good thing. Now more than ever it is imperative to take control of your future and secure it. But how, where, what to do?
The social networking aspect of the internet is in its infancy with just unimaginable potential. I can’t even get my head around it but Marc Andreessen did on a recent interview with Charlie Rose. Watch and listen fast, then think and then apply:
A conversation with Marc Andreessen, co-founder and chairman of Ning and an investor in several startups including Digg, Plazes, and Twitter. Best known as co-author of Mosaic, and founder of Netscape. He is on the Board of Directors of Facebook and eBay

Find Out Which Government Officials are Tweeting…
Posted by admin as businessfromhomeonline
I was just pondering how EVERYTHING is changing and moving at warp speed when I read the Times (I think it was) article about elected leaders using Twitter to communicate and keep in touch with their constituents. So I started searching and found these three articles that I think have great information and value:

How to Go Viral on Twitter: The Science of ReTweeting
Posted by admin as businessfromhomeonline
Dan Zarrella has been studying one of the most crucial aspects of Twitter: the ReTweet. This is when Twitterers repost something that another Twitterer has posted in their stream. Zarrella\’s findings can help you go viral on Twitter.
One of the most important findings is a basic marketing method that has been used across channels: the call to action. Tweets that flat-out ask for a ReTweet are more likely to, you guessed it, get ReTweeted.
So what\’s most likely to get ReTweeted? Freebies, lists, blog posts and meta Tweets (i.e. Tweets about Twitter).
Another interesting statistic is who is more likely to be ReTweeted. The most Tweeted users are:
1. StatSheet (1515.92)
2. yrtv (420.244)
3. MacHeist (386.29)
4. kshashi (313.207)
5. abcinnercircle (273.789)
If you can get a highly ReTweeted user to post something about you, then you\’re more likely to go viral on Twitter.
(Of course, like pitching bloggers, you\’ll have to be extremely delicate - covert, really - in how you go about doing this. You\’ll need to strike a relationship and offer something of value that will benefit the Twitter user.)
Last but not least are two final tips. If you want a ReTweet, include a link in your original Tweet. 65% of ReTweets include a link. Also, post those original Tweets during regular business hours. Most ReTweets occur between 8am and 5pm, peaking in the afternoon at around 3pm EST.

Phone Phobia About Your Business From Home_Work?
Posted by admin as Uncategorized

Let me be blunt…
If you want to build a team that follows you in your business from home_work you must have a duplicatable system to teach them or hook them up with mentors to train them for you. Look at the picture above and you will clearly see the differences between the Old School and the New School. Now you will find that 90% of people in network marketing with a business from home are still teaching the Old School methods. Good lord I even know a VP of Marketing in a new company that still goes door to door with his flip charts!!! Well, the old school methods worked back in the day but are no longer efficient or as effective because…
They are too time consuming. Period. The return for your time commitment is dismal to just plan bad. And remember the duplicatable rule? Well, others you want to follow you will say up front that they don’t have the time to have home parties, meet-ups, hang out at hot-spots to pass out business cards/flyers etc.
Thank heavens now there is the internet, Web 2.0 and social marketing. There are a plethora of tools available for marketers to use that basically “talk” with people 24/7 in the comfort of their living rooms; AND even when you are comfortably sleeping or surfing or cruising or whatever. This is the way of NOW or the new school. But because there are so many tools and techniques and venues you need mentors to hold your hand to sort it all out. And remember that duplicatable rule again? Well these same mentors can help your team in the same way. So suddenly you are reaching huge numbers of people all the time and you have a duplicatable plan that your team can follow as well.
If you are ready to begin your business from home_work and you are ready to embrace the new school way of marketing your message and you are ready to be duplicatable then go to Extreme Cash Coaching and let’s begin.

Current Trends Encourage More People to Work from Home
Posted by admin as Uncategorized
OK, so we are still thinking about a business from home_work. I read some very interesting insights from University of Missouri Live and Learn and will share a few here. Linda Benedict states:
“To be successful at a home-based business, you not only have to be good at what you do,
but you have to be good at letting others know how good you are at what you do.
You have to come up with a plan to get your product or service in the market place.
You have to come up with a marketing plan.
This marketing plan involves two parts:
* You have to figure out who the market is
* You have to make the product or service known to that market. These two work together.”
Getting the word out and doing it well is all new in today’s world. In days of old, letting others know what you had and how good you are was door to door (too dangerous and out of the question for women), and then home parties and “meet-ups” (too time consuming (more on that in another post)). And finally there is the internet. Sounds crazy but now even some internet techniques are “old hat”.
The article goes on to discuss the best and most trusted form of marketing…Word-of-mouth. This type of promotion is particularly valuable for a home-based business because it’s free. Be sure the word passed is favorable.
So what happened here. I was talking about the internet and then all of a sudden I am talking about word of mouth. Well, actually, word of mouth on the internet is the hottest and best and fastest way to get the word out on your business from home_work. It is called Web 2.0 and social media. This is huge and requires a bit of navigation as it is growing daily and I will post greatly on this topic. To get a head start check out the free information at Extreme Cash Coaching and I will see you on the next post.

Why Consider a Business From Home_Work?
Posted by admin as businessfromhomeonline, businessfromhomeopportunity, businessfromhomework
Let me be blunt. Now is the best time to start a
business from home_work because no traditional job or
company is secure. Period. You need to start now to
secure a second income with a business from home_work
to earn extra income and grow it into an income replacement
when needed. OK,if I lose my job I will just get another one right?
The Wall Street Journal reported the following:
In November, Julia Otto was headed to her first day on a new job, car keys in hand,
as an administrative assistant with a New Orleans construction company when her phone rang.
Her position was eliminated before she even started.
OK, but why a business from home-work? Because it is your business, you are
in control and because more people are spending time online than ever before.
From the same Wall Street Journal article:
“It’s been decades since Americans had this much time on their hands and
– thanks to the Web — never have there been so many opportunities to burn it.
The current state of the economy and more people than ever being online both point to
increasing opportunities for online business from home_work. That being said
what ever online business you are drawn to you will need mentoring and help in finding
tips and low cost tools that work. Here is an online community that helped me greatly,
Extreme Cash Coaching.
There’s huge value in surrounding yourself with other smart marketers.
